Kids in our middle age group tend to be very high-energy, so we keep them moving with a wide variety of activities with their cabin group, at a more challenging level to suit their age and abilities. Since campers in this age group have longer attention spans, they begin to focus on the activities they are most interested in by customizing part of their day during “Choose Your Own Adventure” special choice periods.
We further develop the Saplings sense of community by increasing the number of cabin choice periods on their schedule. These periods allow campers to have input on the activities they would like to participate in, and collaborate with their peers to create their own custom programs.
