Are you able to accomodate peanut allergies?

We have had campers with anaphylactic allergies in the past. Our peanut policy is the same as the school system – while we cannot absolutely guarantee no nuts at camp, we are “nut aware”. We ask families not to send peanut products to camp, and do not serve any nut products. If we have a camper at camp with a nut allergy we also check the contents of any camper lunches brought from home daily. My husband has a peanut allergy, so I am very familiar with the signs and symptoms and ALL of our staff have done epipen training as part of their first aid certification.
