Babysitting Course 2017

Parents: do you have a pre-teen who is interested in babysitting?

We’ll give them the skills and the confidence to be successful in their first job.

Maple Key’s babysitter training goes beyond the standard course-from-a-book to include frank discussion, real-life scenarios, and practical skills to help young teens become the kind of babysitter that parents can trust.

Topics included in this one-day course:

  • Getting the job (Resume & Interview, Job Safety)
  • Preparing for a babysitting job
  • Babysitting skills (age characteristics, activity planning, baby care, etc)
  • Safety
  • Babysitter’s First Aid

Includes the course manual to take home ($10 value) and wallet completion card. Participants will need to successfully complete two tests on the materials taught in the class to pass the course. Suggested age 11+.

Please Note: Only 12 spaces are available, and payment is required in order to reserve your spot. A waiting list will be kept if necessary. Cancellations made with less than a week’s notice will not be refunded.
